Orientation professionnelle pour les survivants du cancer qui retournent au travail

Le cancer a un impact sur l'aptitude au travail beaucoup plus important que d'autres troubles physiques et psychiatriques. Des aménagements sont souvent nécessaires lors du retour au travail après le traitement, et les survivants du cancer peuvent être victimes de discrimination pendant ce processus. Cet article aborde les principaux défis professionnels auxquels les survivants du cancer sont confrontés et présente les théories d'orientation professionnelle pertinentes pour aider les clients à les relever. Les modèles constructivistes d'orientation professionnelle et la théorie des hasards offrent des stratégies pour aider les survivants à donner un sens aux événements inattendus, à explorer de nouvelles possibilités de retour au travail et à acquérir des compétences pour faire face aux défis futurs sur le marché du travail.
